QT Energy Shot (Part 2) (QuikTrip)

After taking one of these energy shots @ 9:30 AM I began to feel tired again at about 1:00 PM. Now I do have to state that I was up last night up until 1:30 AM and up at around 7:00 AM so that' s not very much rest which can make the results not as great as someone with at least 6-8 hours of sleep. Now it did give me energy but not in the same fashion as 5hr Energy does the job. I do not think this is a 5hr replacement but a cheap alternative if you just don't want to pay for the real deal. It still isn't quite there yet, and even though I don't like the 5hr taste this thing tastes about 3x worse. It tastes like Grape (the after taste) but as far as the initial taste, I felt like it tastes like what I would think dirty mop water tastes like. How's that for a visual?

Overall was it worth the $4? I don't know yet. I did just take another here @ 1:30 PM and going to see how that turns out but as of this point I don't think I would buy them again, I will stick to my Monsters. As far as the best consistent price on 5hr I usually pay $2.68 ea for them @ Wal-Mart which is as close to 2/$5 I can find.

If you have tried this product before, what are your thoughts?

Thanks.

  1. I just had the Grape version myself, and I think if you chill it you will have a better taste experience, imho. Anyways, so far I am already feeling a lift in energy, thanks for posting this blog, I hope others find it and let us know what they think as well.

  2. I usually take the Berry Extra Strength, QT Energy Shot. I did try the grape, and the berry is by far easier to get down! The taste is much much better. As far as the boost, it usually takes about 20mins to get me going, and last around the 3 or 3.5 HR mark for me as well.
